Strawberry Dessert Topping
Ingredients
- 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, strawberries, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Mix 1/4 cold water with corn starch and add to strawberries cooking until sauce thickens.
Transfer to a small bowl. Refrigerate until chilled.
